"An interrogation of what is the essence of the organic: things refract, re-invent, flow
differently."

This series of collages comes from an investigation into colour relationships and how colour
can define a place or object. Each collage is made up of several different photographs that
are cut into narrow strips and stuck down in directional lines to create a dynamic textured
surface. The colours and patterns that emerge retain elements of their origin but ultimately
only provide an impression of their source.
